To make sure your window installers have the skill and experience to properly install, we’ve put together seven questions to ask any replacement window company that you are considering for the job.
#1. How long have you been in the replacement window business?
Even if a startup companies is trustworthy, they may not have the experience to handle all of the nuances of your job. And you don’t want to be a window installer’s guinea pig!
Select a window installation company with decades of experience. Not only does this ensure skill and knowledge, it also means the company has consistently satisfied customers for many years, enabling them to stay in business. It also means they aren’t going anywhere – in case you have any needs or warranty issues in the future!

#2. Is your replacement window company licensed, bonded and insured?
Window installers are required to receive a license from the state to ensure they remain up-to-date with the latest construction and safety regulations. If they are fully insured you are protected if a worker is injured while installing your windows. Never work with a window installation company that isn’t fully licensed, bonded and insured.

#3. Do you offer a lifetime warranty on your replacement windows?
Many fly-by-night companies, door-to-door window sellers, online-only retailers and even big box stores, don’t offer any type of warranty … or only short warranties.
All of our replacement windows are made in the USA – and all of our windows come with a limited lifetime warranty for your peace of mind.
